POLICARE Nanyuki: GBV One-Stop Centre

🏛️ POLICARE Nanyuki

POLICARE (Police + Care) is the National Police Service's centre for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence. The Nanyuki centre is Kenya's second of its kind and the first in the Upper Eastern region. It was set up with the British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) and the REINVENT Programme. A magistrate sits on site, so survivors do not have to travel to court.
